David Eitan Poll is a Program Manager on the Application Frameworks team. He joined Microsoft in June 2008 after two summer internships with the team. David’s is currently working on Silverlight with a focus on RIA applications. David grew up in Yorba Linda, California — a suburban paradise in “The O.C.” He attended Troy High School in Fullerton, California and graduated in 2005 with an International Baccalaureate diploma. After high school, he high-tailed it up to the Bay Area to study Computer Science at the University of California, Berkeley. After earning his B.A. in Computer Science and graduating with High Honors in 2007, he continued on at Cal to finish an M.Sc. in Computer Science in 2008. While at Berkeley, he was a member and president of the International Honor Society for the Computer Sciences, Upsilon Pi Epsilon - Nu Chapter.
